HCII 2015: Important! Extended Deadlines for proposals submission

HCI International 2015, jointly with the affiliated Conferences, which are held under one management and one registration, invite you to Los Angeles, California, USA. The Conference will start with three days of Tutorials (2-4 August). Parallel Sessions, Poster Sessions and the Exhibition will be held during the last three days (5-7 August) of the Conference.

The Conference Proceedings will be published by Springer in a multi-volume set. Papers will appear in volumes of the LNCS and LNAI series. Extended Poster abstracts will be published in the CCIS series.

The best paper of each of the Affiliated Conferences / Thematic Areas will receive an award. The Best Poster extended abstract will also receive an award. (http://2015.hci.international/awards)

HCII 2015 has now a freshly designed website

If you have recently visited the HCII 2015 website you may have already noticed the new look and design of the site. This responsive UI will provide a better user experience to view the site and preview our program. We also have a new domain name: http://2015.hci.international, which will help us provide easier site management.

HCII 2015: Registration now open

Registration for the Conference is already available through the Conference Management System (CMS: https://cms.hci.international/2015/). The Early Registration period applies until 10 January 2015.

A number of rooms have been reserved to be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, while reduced rates have been agreed with The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, which is recommended as the main hotel of the Conference. Call for Participation in a parallel session: "Practicing what we Preach".
This session will be one of the parallel sessions of the 4th International Conference on Design, User Experience, and Usability in the context of HCI International 2015 (http://2015.hci.international) to be held in Los Angeles, CA, USA, 2 - 7 August 2015. Please send a short description (website(s) of interest, objectives, methods) and your contact information to tim.schneidermeier@ur.de by November 17th, 2014. You shall then receive an official invitation via the conference management system where you can submit an extended abstract (800 words). The extended abstracts should include a statement of the objective and significance of the proposed presentation, a description of methods and a discussion of result.
